Meet the Ladies

We have lots of little brown cows but they all have their own personality.....

Meet Ginny, Ginny is a trooper and deals with with any nonsense we dish out at her
Meet Plum! Plum is Clementine's first baby. We originally named her Plum because she was plum loco but she has since mellowed out a lot.
Clementine here is the same age as her baby Plum pictured on the left, their color may be a little different but they have the same ears.
Meet Amaleigh, she is Needa's 4th baby girl after Alyce, Amara, and Agnes. Her mom and sisters are all calm and even tempered but she is a total spitfire
Jackie O' is Ella's show heifer because not only is she pretty but she is sweet as can be, it must be genetic because her mom Holly is John's favorite cow.
Meet Mary Lincoln! She is pictured above with her mom Starburst after her rough entrance into the world last fall, she made a quick turn around though and is now a healthy 6 month old.
Sage is pictured here at the county fair where she will never go again. She insisted on untying the cows next to her and flipping over everyone's dinner bucket, she would untie herself and just leave until we got wise to what she was doing....
Meet Juniper! Juniper ripped out her right tag giving her a funky shaped ear now. She is pictured as a three month old but now she is a two year old who just had her first baby.
Meet Charlotta, Char's mom is Agnes who is Amaleigh's sister making Char Am's niece even though Char is two years older.

Those are some interesting names right?  Each year we pick a naming theme for all the cows born that year so Plum and Sage were born  in the same year (2014) and Jackie O' and Mary Lincoln were born in 2015.

2016: Cities! There aren't any of those ladies featured yet, but we'll introduce them soon!
2015: First Ladies of the US, we covered everyone from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama
2014/13: Nature, this was such a good theme it had to last two years!

Then there are the 'special' cows who belong to family members and not the farm, for example all of Needa's babies have 'A' names like Amaleigh, Amara, Agnes, and Alyce. All of Alyce's babies have 'B' names and all of Agnes' have 'C' names like Charlotta.
